At Sawyer Aviation, SawyerMX, and Sawyer Flight Academy, we take the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak very seriously. The health and well-being of our customers and employees is of the utmost importance. In an effort to ensure the health and safety throughout our operations, we are following guidelines from the CDC and the WHO. Our Sawyer SafeTM cleaning standards and flight preparation procedures are best in class in the Charter and Medical Transport industry, maintenance operations and flight instruction. Our aircraft are treated with recommended alcohol based disinfectants and disinfected prior to all outbound flights from our SDL and VNY bases.
Sawyer Flight Academy Safety Protocols
We continuously update our preventative measures in an effort to ensure your well-being. Here are just some of the things we do:
- The Sawyer company policy requires all Sawyer Aviation Team Members (Pilots and Staff) to stay home if they are feeling ill or have any flu-like symptoms.
- We encourage employees who are not vital for in-person interaction to work remotely when possible.
- Sawyer supplies PPE to all passengers and employees.
- We maintain social distance to the extent possible, encourage everyone to wear masks, wash hands often and provide individual hand sanitizers to all of our passengers.
