Become A Pilot with Sawyer Flight Academy

Take your seat beside your Sawyer Flight Academy instructor in the same proven training aircraft the US Air Force Academy uses to train aviators: the sleek Diamond DA-40. Hear the roar of the 180hp engine and feel the moment of freedom as the wheels leave the ground. Once in the air for your flight lesson, your instructor will demonstrate the basic skills of flying and the intuitive controls of the aircraft. Enjoy the sensations and scenery. Or take the controls and feel the thrill of flying a state-of-the-art aircraft.

Fair warning: Our Discovery Flights are known to ignite a burning desire to become a pilot. If you do, your Discovery Flight will count toward the forty-hour flight time required by the FAA to get your Private Pilot License.
